Different box designs
We generally design and make four types of box: standard designs, standard designs with customisation, speculative designs and bespoke designs.
Standard design
These are our more popular designs. We either have stock available or partially made for a faster delivery. We normally aim to provide these handmade boxes within 6-8 weeks. You can view these boxes in our shop.
Standard design with some customisation
These are our popular designs with a little twist. The customisations are normally personalisations such as initials. But we can change the configuration of the contents or use different woods or linings. Most things are changeable. The lead time depends upon your requirements and could add a further number of weeks. View our standard designs in our shop and add some imagination!
Speculative design
These are designs that we produce to try out a technique or just to see if a design works. These are sometimes available. We can always reproduce any handmade box on this site.
Bespoke design
Our bespoke designs are produced with you, by asking questions, and identifying your requirements and preferences. It takes a while to develop an individualised design that you are happy with. We then handmake the box to your approved design. We have to schedule the making of these boxes which can take up to 3 months to make. Due to our workload this may need to include a lead time of a further 3 months. So our bespoke boxes may take from 3-6 months to complete.
